Our marquee event of the year, our Wild Splendor gala is an institution in the Portland-Vancouver area conservation community. Each year, more than 320 community leaders attend to celebrate the leading-edge conservation and restoration achievements we accomplish together.

Land Trust Tours
Each year, the Land Trust offers 6-8 immersive, educational tours on our conserved lands. Because many of these environments are ecologically sensitive, these are rare chances for tour-goers to see some of the least traveled, wild places in the Columbia River region. We also explore nature close to home, such as backyard habitats in Portland and prime sandhill crane habitat within Vancouver’s city limits. Each tour offers a unique education component, with topics ranging from astronomy and geology to tracking, foraging, and survival skills. Tour sponsorship packages include:

Annual Picnic
The Columbia Land Trust annual membership picnic is a prime opportunity for our ardent supporters to gather and enjoy the best part about living in the Northwest–being outdoors in the summer. Our picnic allows our staff and board to thank our members for their support while also allowing folks to enjoy the fruits of their support: the permanent conservation of remarkable lands and waters.
