Reflect with Nature - Columbia Land Trust
How have you looked to nature in the midst of the pandemic? We want to hear from you!

This year, we at the Land Trust have found ourselves looking to nature for health, healing, and lessons in resilience. We want to know if you’ve looked to nature in the midst of this pandemic, and if so, where and how. Share with us a photo in a post or comment on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using the Land Trust’s #reflectwithnature hashtag.

Here are some prompts to get you going:

  1. Describe a moment, place, or wildlife observation outside that has offered you comfort or connection. (This could be nature in on a neighborhood walk, in your backyard habitat, in a city park, or anywhere really).
  2. If you haven’t been able to get outside much – what do you miss? Do you have any resources, books, music or films that help you feel closer to nature? Have you taken time to learn more about nature even as you’re inside more?
  3. How has your relationship with, feelings, or thinking about nature changed since the pandemic began?

If social media is not your thing or would prefer to send your response via email, send us a photo and caption to media@columbialandtrust.org.

We’ll re-share some responses in our fall Fieldbook newsletter, as well as on social media in the weeks to come. Thank you, and don’t forget to tag us and use #reflectwithnature on your post!
