Come join us at Wood’s Landing for our first work party of 2018! We’ll be working to expand the path we created in December and continuing to pull weeds. Those of you who have been here before will be amazed at the work that our site steward has made since December. It will likely be cool and wet, so rain gear and waterproof shoes are advisable. WHEN: Friday, March 16th | 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: Wood’s Landing, SE Riverwood Lane, Vancouver WA
DIRECTIONS: Off of Old Evergreen Highway, turn onto SE Riverwood Lane. Follow the road as it parallels the railroad tracks. It will bend right at a little cabin with a carport. Staff will open the gate for parking, or you can park off of the road along the mowed grassy area. Please drive slowly, folks sometimes walk their dogs on this small road. There is minimal parking, so carpooling is recommended.
FACILITIES: There are no facilities on the site, but ample shrubs and tree cover. Bathrooms can be found just down the way at the Columbia Springs hatchery and education center, if needed.
