At Columbia Land Trust, we’re proud of the 33,000 acres of land conserved to date, but we also know that conserving land won’t be enough to meet the most daunting challenges facing our region: the doubling of our population, disappearing habitat, disconnection from nature, and a changing climate. That’s why we’ve created a 25-year plan to fund more conservation projects than we have in our previous three decades of work combined! It’s a bold plan, we’ve challenged ourselves, and we’re committed to being fearless.
You can count yourself among the fearless by joining us on Giving Tuesday on November 28th, as we raise $25,000 for our next 25 years of work. Longtime supporters and daredevils, Sue and Drew Snyder, are challenging you to give by matching all gifts up to $5,000. This means your donation on Giving Tuesday will go twice as far.
We want to recognize you, the everyday champions of conservation who make this work possible. You embody the spirit of fearless conservation every time you venture out and try something new, from volunteering, to restoring habitat, to hiking a new trail, and to giving to the causes that mean the most to you.
