Columbia Land Trust knows you care about how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate you trusting that we will do so carefully and sensibly. We want you to feel comfortable using this website. Our privacy policy explains how information may be collected by this site. When you visit our website, our servers make a log of basic information corresponding to the sites and pages you have visited. This information is stored primarily to track the effectiveness of our website and pages within it.

6. Email Communications

We publish the Moss, an e-newsletter that is sent periodically to people on a listserv. The e-newsletter is distributed by email although back issues may also be viewed on our website. You may subscribe or unsubscribe to the email listserv at any time by clicking the “update subscription preferences” link at the bottom of any e-newsletter. We periodically send email encouraging you to support our efforts to conserve vital Northwest lands, waters, and wildlife. These emails are managed on a separate list from the e-newsletter, but you can unsubscribe from this list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

7. Changes to this privacy policy

Changes may be made to this policy from time to time. You will be notified of substantial changes to this policy either by through the posting of a prominent announcement on the site, and/or by a mail message sent to the email address you have provided.

8. Legal Disclaimer

There may be factors beyond the site editor’s control that may result in disclosure of data. We may disclose personal information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such an action is necessary to conform to the edicts of the law or to comply with the legal process served on columbialandtust.org.
